Welcome to Tashi’s Yarn Bar. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Tashi’s Yarn Bar. We operate a retail yarn shop and community craft space offering yarn, knitting and crochet notions, art and craft supplies, beverages (including wine, beer, coffee, and tea), craft classes, events, and related services, both in‑store and online (collectively, the “Services”).

Our website and online store are powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with any policies referenced herein (including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy), govern your access to and use of the Services. Please read them carefully.

By visiting, interacting with, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

SECTION 1 – ACCESS, ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNTS

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. Certain Services (including the purchase or consumption of alcoholic beverages) are restricted to individuals 21 years of age or older, and valid identification may be required.

You may be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, billing, payment, and shipping details. You agree that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts may not be transferred or shared.

SECTION 2 – PRODUCTS & SERVICES

We sell a curated selection of products, including:

  • Yarn, fiber, and craft supplies (including items from independent artists and vendors)

  • Knitting and crochet notions

  • Artwork and handmade goods

  • Beverages, including wine, beer, coffee, and tea

  • Classes, workshops, and community events

Some products sold in our shop may be offered on consignment by independent vendors or artists. While we carefully curate these items, we do not manufacture most goods and make no guarantees beyond those required by law.

Product images, colors, and descriptions are provided for reference only and may vary due to screen settings, dye lots, handmade variation, or artistic process.

We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any product or Service at any time without notice.

SECTION 3 – CLASSES, WORKSHOPS & EVENTS

Registration for classes, workshops, or events may be required in advance. Space is limited.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Class fees are non‑refundable but may be transferable at our discretion.

  • Missed classes are not eligible for refunds or credits.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, registrants will receive a refund or credit.

Participation in classes and events is voluntary and at your own risk. You agree to follow all posted safety guidelines and instructions.

SECTION 4 – ORDERS & PURCHASES

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion.

Orders are not considered accepted until payment is processed and confirmation is issued. Please review orders carefully; changes or cancellations may not be possible once an order is accepted.

All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.

Purchases are for personal or household use only and may not be resold.

SECTION 5 – PRICING, TAXES & PAYMENTS

Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices listed do not include applicable taxes, shipping, or handling unless stated otherwise.

In‑store prices may differ from online prices. Promotions are subject to separate terms.

You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize us to charge your selected payment method for all purchases.

SECTION 6 – SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping and delivery dates are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or events outside our control.

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

SECTION 7 – ALCOHOL SALES & CONSUMPTION

Alcoholic beverages are sold and served in compliance with applicable state and local laws.

You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume alcohol. Valid ID may be required.

Alcohol purchases are final and non‑refundable where permitted by law. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

SECTION 8 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Services, including text, images, logos, designs, and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to Tashi’s Yarn Bar and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may use the Services for personal, non‑commercial purposes only. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

SECTION 9 – THIRD‑PARTY SERVICES & LINKS

The Services may include third‑party tools or links. We are not responsible for third‑party content, products, or services and access them at your own risk.

SECTION 10 – SHOPIFY PLATFORM

Tashi’s Yarn Bar is powered by Shopify. All purchases are made directly with Tashi’s Yarn Bar, not Shopify. Shopify is not responsible for sales, products, or Services.

SECTION 11 – FEEDBACK & USER CONTENT

If you submit reviews, comments, or other feedback, you grant us a royalty‑free, perpetual license to use that content for business and marketing purposes.

You represent that any content you submit is accurate, lawful, and your own.

SECTION 12 – ERRORS & CORRECTIONS

We reserve the right to correct errors or inaccuracies and to cancel orders if information is incorrect.

SECTION 13 – PROHIBITED USES

You agree not to misuse the Services, violate laws, infringe rights, harass others, or interfere with the operation of the business or website.
