Drop Spindle Class - June 18

Have you ever wondered how wool is transformed into yarn? If so, then this is the class for you! Come learn how to transform fluffy wool into yarn by spinning it on a drop spindle. The drop spindle is a small, portable tool that will keep spinning while walking, riding in a car, or relaxing with other fiber friends. No experience is needed for this class. All tools and a complimentary drink will be provided.

Thursday, June 18 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

In this class you will learn how to...

• Draft and spin on a drop spindle
• Spin using low-whorl and top-whorl methods
• Ply and set your yarn

Some things to note:

• This class is NOT recommended for children under 14 year of age
