Fiber Camp (Ages 9-12) - June 1-6

Get ready for a week full of color, creativity, and fiber fun! At Fiber Camp, young makers will explore a variety of yarn-based crafts while learning new skills and expressing their creativity.

Throughout the week, campers will experiment with several fiber techniques including yarn dyeing, pom-pom making, weaving, and beginner crochet. Each day introduces a new project while also allowing time for kids to build on the skills they’ve already learned. By the end of the week, campers will have a collection of handmade creations and the confidence to keep crafting at home.

The camp wraps up with a Saturday gallery event, where friends and family are invited to visit the shop and see everything the campers created during the week.

No prior crafting experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new!

Camp Schedule (June 1-6 from 9 a.m.-noon)

• Monday: Yarn Dyeing
• Tuesday: Pom-Pom Creations
• Wednesday: Weaving
• Thursday: Crochet Basics
• Friday: Finish & Create Studio Time
• Saturday (10 a.m.): Gallery Event for friends and family

Camp Size:
Space is limited to 8 campers to ensure each participant receives plenty of guidance and support.

Camp Duration:
Camp runs June 1-6, Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m.-noon, with a gallery event on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. where campers can proudly showcase their creations to family and friends.

Materials:
All materials are included in the camp fee. Campers will go home with small projects they create throughout the week. They will work on a larger piece throughout the week that will be on display in the shop for the duration of the month. Their large gallery piece will be available for pickup at the end of the month.

What to Bring:
Campers should bring:

• A water bottle
• Clothes that can handle a little creativity (especially on dye day!)

Skill Level:
No prior fiber arts experience is necessary. This camp is beginner-friendly and designed to help kids build confidence as they learn.

About the Camp Director:
The camp will be run by shop owner, Natasha Berg who has worked in education for over 9 years and holds a Master's degree in Education. She grew up caring for her four younger siblings and worked as a nanny from the time she was 16. 

Registration & Cancellation Policy:
Due to limited space and advance preparation of materials, no refunds or transfers will be issued during the week of camp. Thank you for understanding.
