Knit Camp (Ages 9-12) - August 10-12

Get ready for a three days full of fiber fun! At Knit Camp, 9-12 year old makers will explore a variety of knitted crafts while learning new skills and expressing their creativity.

Throughout camp, campers will experiment with several knitting techniques including standard knitting with knitting needles, hand knitting, and circular machine knitting. Each day introduces a new project while also allowing time for kids to build on the skills they’ve already learned. By the end of camp, students will have a collection of handmade creations and the confidence to keep knitting at home.

No prior knitting experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new!

Camp Schedule (August 10-12 from 9 a.m.-noon)

• Monday: standard knitting 
• Tuesday: hand knitting
• Wednesday: knitting machine

Camp Size:
Space is limited to 6 campers to ensure each participant receives plenty of guidance and support.

Camp Duration:
Camp runs August 10-12, Monday–Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.-noon.

Materials:
All materials are included in the camp fee. Campers will go home with small projects they create throughout the week along with their own set of knitting needles to keep crafting at home!

What to Bring:
Campers should bring:

• A water bottle
• Snack (optional)

Skill Level:
No prior fiber arts experience is necessary. This camp is beginner-friendly and designed to help kids build confidence as they learn.

About the Camp Director:
The camp will be run by shop owner, Natasha Berg, who has worked in education for over 9 years and holds a Master's degree in Education. She grew up caring for her four younger siblings and worked as a nanny from the time she was 16. 

Registration & Cancellation Policy:
Due to limited space and advance preparation of materials, no refunds or transfers will be issued the week before camp begins. Thank you for understanding.
