Plarn Weaving Class with Ryanna - September 5

Join our September featured artist, Ryanna, to learn how to transform plastic bags into plarn (plastic yarn) and then how to use that plarn to weave a mat. These mats are often made to be given to the homeless, so not only will you learn how to recycle your plastic bags, but you can also make a positive impact in your community!

Saturday, September 5 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

• turn plastic bags into workable yarn (plarn)
• use your plarn to weave a small sample mat

Some things to note:

• This class is not recommended for individuals under 10 years of age.
  
• All supplies and a complimentary drink will be provided.
